West Virginia New Home

If you don't live in the state, West Virginia just past a new law putting more restrictions on teen drivers in WV. For example, a level 2 licensed driver may not drive between the hours of 10PM and 5AM with out a licensed driver over the age of 21 in the passenger seat, a level 2 licensed driver may not drive with a non family member passenger for the first 6 months of receiving the license. I will be getting my level 2 drivers license in a few days, and honestly, I only have a problem with one of these new laws. Driving past 10. I have a job that requires me to work until 10:30. I do theatre at my high school. Performances don't start until 8 and are usually 2 hours. I also play high school tennis. Sometimes we go to away matches and don't return to the school until 10. My parents both work nights. I bum rides home from friends, who now wont be able to drive because of the new laws. Im sure there has to be some kind of exception for at least school functions. I don't want to quit my job, I put all of that money away so I can go to college, but I might have to quit. Does anyone know who I can contact to find this information out?
Oh I must add that before you can obtain your level 2 license, you need to have have a learners permit for 6 months (You have to drive with a licensed adult in the car at all times), either have compleated a drivers ED course, or have driven for a total of 30 driving hours.

You may not tap your feet, nod your head, or in any way keep time to the music in a tavern, restaurant, or cafe. 

On Sundays citizens may not relieve themselves while looking up. 

White Mountain Nat. Forest
If a person is caught raking the beaches, picking up litter, hauling away trash, building a bench for the park, or many other kind things without a permit, he/she may be fined $150 for ''maintaining the national forest without a permit''.

One may not walk a lion, tiger or leopard, even on a leash. 

Nicholas County
No member of the clergy is allowed to tell jokes or humorous stories from the pulpit during a church service. 

Huntington
Firemen may not whistle or flirt at any woman passing a firehouse. 

It is legal to beat your wife so long as it is done in public on Sunday, on the courthouse steps.

I live in Clarksburg West Virginia my lease agreement is up on July first and I need a new place to live. I need at least a 3br and would prefer a home over an apartment. I have two young children and another one on the way. I always pay my rent on time and am very clean, I can only afford about 350 with no utilities, and will pay up to 500 depending on what utilities are included. I would like to rent to own or land contract if avalible..please keep in mind that I have to be out of my apartment by July 1st.. Please Help!!!!

Try the yellow pages, as the internet isn't quite as reliable for finding things in WV as in more populated places. Also, pay attention along the roads for "For Rent" signs.

You aren't likely to find a place with three bedrooms for your price, and certainly not a house, even here in WV.

Or do they go home? I'm considering it but I don't want it to be a ghost town. I want a college where the kids stay like every single moment possible except for breaks. Especially since I live in New York, I'd be screwed haha.

WVU is right in Morgantown and it is not a ghost town on weekends. While many kids from there go to Pittsburgh on weekends my daughter's BF went there for 6 years (bachelors and masters) and he just loved the place.
