I've spent practically the same amount of time in both cities. If you had to choose which one to stay with, which one? Its hard because new orleans is like no other place and its a place where it just feels like home. San diego is basically like a place to just chill. There is alot of stuff to do, but it doesn't feel like home. There is more opputunity in San Diego, but also in New Orleans. It's a hard decision to make, but please help me make it. Thanks :)

The way you worded your question seems like you are leaning toward New Orleans. Personally, I would take San Diego - hands down!! Way more opportunities in SD, more things to do, and better weather. NO in the summer is a bummer!!
I love NO - great city to visit but no way I would live there.

We are having a party at a home in Little Italy and want to WALK down to the harbor to view the fireworks at midnight. I can't find anything that tells me where they are being set off from. Is Seaport or Marina Park a good spot? Somewhere near the Midway? I don't think we want to walk all the way to Harbor Island, which is where some have suggested we go... Help! (& thanks!)

You'll be able to view multiple fireworks at Embarcadero.
