Arm was cut while on the job and required 11 stitches, this happened in a large home improvement store;. Scar is sensitive and is irratating everyday.

A scar is not going to get you WC. It's not keeping you from working.

Even then, for WC to take effect, you have to be out on medical leave for at least 3 weeks.

A cut is not going to do that for you.

Single family home, live with mom. I'm paying for a new fence for our front yard. New York City resident.
Both our names are on the deed so technically I'm a co-owner. Does that make a difference?

Home improvements can be deducted on a rental or investment property.
If a house is your primary residence (if you are a sole or part owner) home improvements can be deducted, if they are made withing 6 months prior to the sale of the home (you are improving it for sale.)
If you are not part owner, only the owner can claim deductions.
If the house is not sold withing 6 months after improvements (the improvements were done just to improve) nobody can deduct.

I want to know what you think are some of the most overrated TV shows. I'm talking about shows that are popular/get critical acclaim but you think just suck. Or shows that were on for a while and it amazed you how they stayed on that long.

A few of mine include:
Sex in the City-- I've tried to watch it. It's not funny and they called it "edgy" because women are talking about sex. Oohh, clever.
Friends-- Bland and boring humor. And how are these people who were in and out of jobs afford to live in those sweet apartments in New York City?
Home Improvement-- Same plot every time. Dad is an idiot and then rights his wrong. But, this show was on forever.
Lost-- Liked it when it first started. Now, it's like they have no idea what to do and just make it weirder.

I work with a non-profit preventing foreclosures and working with budgeting.
