To clarify, I'm specifically after your opinion on what you would like to see a real estate agent leave for you as a gift when you purchase your new home.

eg - gift basket
- public transport timetables

For a gift basket, what kind of things would you like to see or just find useful.

Maps, bottle of wine, copy of the city magazine (eg Philadelphia magazine, etc.), coupon for local restaurant, list of the agents favorite "romantic spots", basket containing fruit, cheese, wine, coupons, etc.

Gosh that would be really nice...I would be so appreciative of that... Do like an item for each room of the house...Maybe include.....Bottle of wine or champange and glasses or flutes (kitchen) and some gourmet cookies or crackers.....A couple of gift cards to local coffee shops or specialty stores....some scented candles or potpurri (bedroom, living room)..... Maybe a few garden items like flower seeds or bulbs (yard/garden) Oh, great idea...New address labels. That would be cool...If I think of anything else I will add it on.

Hello, I am starting up a home business where I will create custom gift baskets. I will have the option for the customer to bring me the stuff and I make it look pretty or I will create the basket using one of my themes. I also plan to offer services such as interior decorating, home organizing, and possibly even event decorating. I need a name that is classy and can encompass all of these things. I am in a very touristy town with many potential upscale clients. So far I am the only gift basket company out there(almost out there:o)) Ready, get your thinking caps on! Thanks!

I just found out that my former boss gave birth. She's on maternity leave but I want to send her a congrats card and maybe something small for the baby like a small gift basket. First of all, is this APPROPRIATE? and second of all, where do I send it since she's on maternity leave and isn't in her office. I dont have her home address or anything like that.

I would say sending it would be appropriate depending how well you got along with her and if she considers you a friend or just a former employee...to me that sounds kind of personally . And as far as sending to her office I would find out if they would forward it to her sometime soon or would it just stay there until she gets back Maybe they would know how you could send it so it gets there
