New Home Design

I have to write a paper in English and basically make a presentation for a panel of judges. I picked that I will create a new home design for a sub division for my "job" and I need to know how to go about creating this?

I would first draw a floor plan for your new home design...Be sure to include some neat features that you would want to include in your home.....then, in your paper, describe the floor plan with all of these neat features. Pretend you are talking to a potential buyer and are trying to sell them this house. The more that you can describe about these neat features, the better your paper will be!!!!

I am moving to a new home and it is quite small, what are some design tips to make the rooms in the home look bigger? I have heard painting vertical lines on a wall will make it look bigger, is that true? I would appreciate websites that would help answer my question. Thank you! :)

I think I got a great deal on a new build home. Now it's time for the landscape, wiring, and design center appointments. I'm cool in all areas except the design center. Light fixtures, faucets, etc, I can do myself. Is it smart to upgrade the counter tops, cabinets, sinks, etc (major items)? The costs of these items are rolled into the price of the home at closing. OR should I wait until my finances permit and do them myself? The only thing I'm sure on upgrading is the carpet pad.

Kitchen and bath upgrades (especially master bath) are key resale selling points. Also crown molding in the primary living areas is a big plus. Good luck.

my parents want to design our new house so i need some suggests
the house haves 4 rooms ,1 bathroom and 2 kitchens
yes i have sims 2 but i don't know probably it helps some real ideeas

i would try to pick a theme. whether it be outdoor, floral, or antique. and stick with it. carry it through your whole house! this will make it feel personal and flowing walking from one room to the next. change the colors in each room but pick them out from your theme so they all compliment eachother. for example i chose grapes. my living room is a light green with small pink accents (red is greens complementary color) then my dining room is a very light shade of purple with green and blue accents. my kitchen is blue with (you guessed it) purple and green accents! pulling in the colors from your other rooms and using them in your accents ties your whole house together. this gives each room its own character yet you dont seem to even notice the drastic change n color. picking a theme and then decorating around it makes it easy, and sets your home up flawlessly decorated!

The old yahoo home page has the red icon of YAHOO and block and rectanagle design. in new yahoo desing the blue is most and rounded tab cause it be more beautiful

Right now the new homepage is in beta, testing, it comes and goes for most folks. Yahoo isn't ready to permanently install it yet. I've had 3 different ones this week.
