Is anyone in Colorado looking to find a puppy a new home at no cost?

I'm new and looking for a puppy that I can raise. Looking for Pups that will grow into larger dogs.

There is no such thing as a puppy at no cost. If you can't afford to buy a puppy then you certainly can't afford to take care of one.

Average Price Per Sq Ft for a New Home Build in South West Colorado?

I would like to get an estimate or average Per Sq Ft price for a New Build with Moderate to High End finishing Residential Home in South Western Colorado.
To Expound as requested! We are looking for Prices based on Ouray County in the Ouray, Ridgeway, Silverton areas of Southwest Colorado.

We have found that the local General Contractors are pricing themselves about $40-$60 per Sq ft higher than the Generals we are speaking with in the Evergreen/Denver areas. They are willing to travel for the work and still keep @ 125-135 Per Sq Ft.

Typically a build with an average suburban interior finishes, start at around $80 per square foot and easily rise to $200 plus per square foot or more for a luxury real estate in Malibu type finish. There are many reasons for such a price spread, including materials, building installed with custom cherry cabinets, hardwood floors, Mahogany baseboard & trim and cedar door & window, wool carpet, imported tiles, spa bath, custom showers and so on, costing more than the average suburban build.

Other factors to contribute to any cost would be; the ease of access to the site with more difficult sites costing 10%-15% more to build on, generally additions/renovations cost more per sq ft than new builds (if I need to pump/ barrow the concrete 60 feet because a truck couldn’t get to the work place or I had to haul the bricks, lumber, tiles or bags of cement and more) the availability of labor, which determine rates (a renovation at your location could cost $45 sq ft but just a few miles away the same renovations could be $55 sq ft or $50 sq ft), number of windows & there style, roof type (flat or pitched & degree of pitch) & covering (shingle, sheet, terra cotta or concrete tile), material cost vary from state to state and store to store e.g.; it would be cheaper to buy Cedar, hemlock or Douglas-fir lumber in California due to larger plantations, than around New York State or it would be cheaper to buy Granite in North Carolina where it’s quarried than in Louisiana where they quarry limestone. Another thing to make a huge difference to any build is multi-storey buildings, where a 2 storey building of the same square footage than a single storey build being much cheaper because the need for less roof or footing. I could go on but you’re probably picturing me as anal by now.

Well, you get the idea, unless you have a specific idea of quality of materials/interior finishes and detail of site and building layout, plus availability of labor any answer would be a rough guess

I’m guessing around $150 sq ft for an average interior finishes to high end type finish, is what you should expect to pay give or take.

What are the best communities to purchase a home in Denver, Colorado?

What are the best communities to purchase a home in Denver, Colorado area? I will be moving there next summer and my work location will be around the South of Denver area. I'm looking for an area with good schools, low crime, and nice track homes in the low to mid 300K range. Mostly interested in new homes (new tracks)! Thanks
I believe the company that I work for is moving to either Littleton or Greenwood Village. I am moving from Southern California and traffic is bad here, so any commute under 30 minutes is fantastic.

Depends where exactly you are moving to. South West Denver is Littleton (Jefferson County) and South East Denver is Aurora. I no longer live in Colorado but I always preferred Jefferson County, however, you may be closer to Castle Rock. Denver area is huge and the traffic is awful. It really depends where you are moving from.

what about flying from high elevation (colorado springs) to new york city which is sea level?

I am trying to go home to New York from Colorado where I am stationed to have my baby..the airline I'm trying to get a flight with allows you to fly within 30 days with a doctor's note but a woman at a lamaze class I went to said it's not safe to change elevations but wouldn't lower elevation be better?

Interesting question, but you might try a category other than Geography. Perhaps Pregnancy & Childbirth...
