How much does it cost to heat a home in New Hampshire with electric heat?

It would be a 1300 sq feet ranch with basement, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, wood stove hookups are there so possibility to alternate with wood.
The house has good insulation and actually 3 bedrooms, and was built in 1972. Let me know if I'm missing anything. Thanks

Looking for a lender to finance a log home purchase in New Hampshire.?

I'm looking to purchase a log home for 85K. The cost to build will total 75K. so that means i need 160K for a loan amount. I already have a finished value of 240K. Can anyone help me find a lender that will do this loan for me? I already have 4500 in escrow deposit. Thanks!


there is one company i know of that does this specifically. they are called 'your log home lender' and specialize in loans for log homes - and they do so in new hampshire as well

Birth in Hospital or at Home? New Hampshire?

I live in NH and am wondering what it might cost without insurance to have a baby at home verses at the hospital by a midwife? including prenatal and postnatal care?
Wow, Dingle, that was absolutely NO help what so ever. but hey, thanx for nothing!


I would recommend home birth, not sure how much you've looked into it but you seem to be already interested, I think the cost of midwife is around $2000-$4000, good luck.
