Janome New Home Sewing Machine

How do i fill a bobbin on this machine. I got the jist of it, but they are messy and tangle.

I guess all im asking is where can i download for free?
Had a rumage around google but they all want to me to pay.
I picked up this sewing machine for my girlfriend who wants to start using it, but there is a bit more too it than i thought.
A general guide to how the bobbin at the bottom (underneath the needle)is setup really.

You need the manual.

The bobbin area consists of several pieces and you want to be sure everything is there.

Basically, you raise the needle to the highest position and this will put the shuttle hook in place to accept the bobbin case.

Put the bobbin into the bobbin case so the thread is feeding from the bobbin spool in a clockwise direction.

Bring the end of the bobbin thread through the opening on the side of the bobbin case and through the guide on the side of the bobbin case.

The bobbin case has a lever on the back and an "arm" on the side.

Hold the lever open as you place the bobbin case into the shuttle; arm up.

The arm has to fit into the opening on the shuttle case.

Here is a very good photo of the bobbin case in place (those black levers are holding the shuttle case and parts in place).

Occasionally the shuttle has to be cleaned and lubricated. This is why it is important to have a manual, so will know how to open (those black levers) and put it back together.

You probably can't. Those are distributed only to repair facilities, even when such things exist.

Suggest you either take Ray White's sewing machine repair classes or join the yahoo group "wefixit".

I am really having a difficult time finding a replacement bobbin case for my New Home 1502 model sewing machine. I have been looking online for about a month now, eBay, everything. I either find parts for 1502 that I don't need, or I find bobbin cases for 1506's and 1508's. I am seriously about to LOOSE IT! Can anyone help?

Have you talked to local sewing machine repair shops? Janome dealers? That's where I'd start.
