I am trying to go home to New York from Colorado where I am stationed to have my baby..the airline I'm trying to get a flight with allows you to fly within 30 days with a doctor's note but a woman at a lamaze class I went to said it's not safe to change elevations but wouldn't lower elevation be better?

I'm looking to move to Colorado from California and I'm trying to find the official MLS Listing website for this state. In Southern California we have www.imrmls.com. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Looking for areas like Denver, Aurora and Colorado Springs. I know for new homes I can search in homebuilders.com, but how about resale homes?
You could try using www.realtor.com. My understanding is that realtor.com gets its feed from various MLS databases.

I want my kids in a good school, but an area where the homes are not too new, but more historical. I was thinking like Old Colorado City and I need to make sure the area has plenty of outdoor stuff to do very close to home. I am ready for a change from Phoenix. What is life like in Colorado Springs?
Colorado Springs is a beautiful and growing city. named the #1 best big city to live in by Forbes Magazine last year. No matter where you go in the springs you will find outdoorsy stuff to do.
The Springs, however, is a very conservative city because of the presence of the New Life Megachurch, the Air Force, and the base of Focus on the Family and depending on who you are that might be ok. Denver is more of my cup of tea because there is more of a progressive scene here.
I noticed this report at examiner.com and it caused me to want to know what the new church's policy will be towards homosexuals and drug users. Does anyone have further information?
"Ted Haggard, fallen leader of New Life Church, announced Wednesday that he will be starting a new "church" in his home in the same way he started New Life Church. His first meeting will be held at his Colorado Springs home on November 7th.
According to a report on The Gazette's Web site, Haggard said of his new venture, "'We wanted to do something in our house to connect with friends.'" He doesn't expect many people will come, maybe between 10 and 20. But, he seems to be okay with that.
Haggard indicated that he is not driven like he was before. He has no secret hope that lots of people will show up and he has no goals for the meeting. He indicated that his motivation this time around is different. It's about "'helping other people,'" he said.
According to the report, Haggard's meeting, which he calls a "'prayer meeting'" will consist of music, a talk by Haggard about the power of prayer, and an offering to New Life Church."
