Birmingham New Home

I have to find my way home from the airport and want a rough idea on how close the main train stations are can i walk or do i need to get a cab?
Thanks to all for yor answers it has put my mind at rest and i know i will get home in a jiffy......

Its all on the same site. You can walk to Birmingham International rail station, say 10 minutes, or take a free monorail taking a few minutes only.

Birmingham New Street is in the city centre.

I am selling my share of a lovely 1st floor new build flat on the Highcroft development in Erdington. It has been valued at £140,000, has a large lounge, good sized kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, a main bathroom and en-suite to the master bathroom. It comes carpeted, with a washer/dryer and cooker. A private parking space is also provided.

Estate agents are trying to charge me £4000 to put the flat on the market, but I have been advised by several different sources that there is a big demand for 50% share properties. Bearing this in mind I thought I might try to sell my home privately.

I have loved living there for the last 18 months, but my husband and I want to buy house in order to start a family.

I am on a works training course at the moment and have just realised that the plonker at the train station has given me an off-peak ticket. I don't think I can change this and I was planning on getting the 17.20 train from Birmingham New Street home.

Is my ticket valid on this train? I can't find what time the peak finishes and off-peak starts.

Hope someone has the answer!!!

You need to ask virgin but I believe you will find on the return you can travel anytime after 9:30 am as they do not bother about the afternoon peak unless you are in london or in the M4 corridor near London

Great post. The most important part of business is advertising. This makes or breaks a business. Some of the best ways to advertise I've found are:

1. Offline promoting (business cards, flyers, newspaper and other print advertising).
2. Online promoting (buying banner ads, forum posts, email auto replies).

The best method that's worked for me so far is handing out business cards. I don't do this in the usual way.... I buy them in bulk from a place online (they give the cards for free, I just paid shipping and handling...they also give a really nice free business card holder, it looks impressive). They're really high quality. I just put all of the info about my business on the cards, and I hand them out on cars at bus stations, malls, etc. It's worked out really, really well for me, and it's completely inexpensive =)
