Beach Home New Smyrna

He died in New Smyrna Beach, FL but was sent back home to Middleburgh, NY for his service on Monday, Nov 20th, 2006..Funeral home is Palmer-Shaylor on RIver Rd...His name is John Skinner..he was 90...I want a copy of his obituary but can't locate it in any newspaper from Fl or NY...can you help?

My fiance and I will be honeymooning in Florida in March. We are trying to find a vacation rental, condo, townhome, home etc somewhere in Florida with an ocean view. We are flying into Orlando. I have been looking at vacation rentals in New Smyrna beach and now I have been trying to look in West Palm Beach area but I am not familiar with that part of the state! I am starting over again and I'm moving on the first, of this month, I barely can pay my rent, and am trying to get benefits.I have no family her, I live in new smyrna beach florida, and am working full and part tim,e to give my kids a home, but cant buy things at the momont, at least a bed for them or pillows, blankets, dishes,a couch.what ever you can help me will be great,I have never asked nobody, but now...i really need some help, me and my kids will apreciate it so much....is there an angel out there?

My cat coughs and struggles to breathe and I looked up her symptoms and watched videos of other cats with asthma and she acts the same way..i called vet after vet today and none of them are willing to work with payments. They told me I was looking as $350 just for her to get propper care and I really can't afford that. I can't get a credit card either..does anyone know of free or low income vet hospitals or clinics? I live in new smyrna beach fl. I'm afraid shes going to die before I can get her help and I hate seeing her suffer. And is there any thing I can do at home? any help would be very grateful, but please don't tell me I don't care about her cause i love her like family.

Did they break down that price as to what exactly is covered?

Our cat has asthma, she was on a low dose of prednisolone for $15 for 2 months, we had her on antibiotics for a while too, at $18 for 2 weeks to see if we could reduce the inflamation. After that first checkup, the pred and the antibiotics we got her under control. I can't see $350 being justified even if they took x-rays and did the fluid test (sedating her, putting a puff of fluid into her lungs, drawing it out again and checking it for what types of bacteria were in there.).

Go to a different vet, ask for a checkup, ask for them to listen to her lungs, and ask for a course of low dose steroid to see if that improves her. You're looking at LOW cost that way and it's the common way to treat asthmatic cats. Should run you the price of the checkup and $15 for the red pills. Many cats on a low dose of this back off their symptoms to almost normal. Your cat needs help, you need to be active in the question/answer part with the vet.
