i just moved in to a house, but unfortunetly we do not have enough money to make our house homey all we have is the bed and fidge and stove, does anyone have old furniture or couch that they do not need anymore or any homey stuff that would help us fill in our house and create a homey atmosphere. please let me know i'd appriciate it alot.

People give away stuff they don't want any more and some is really nice. I have given away a refrigerator and gotten a great recliner, a good working vacuum ., DVD;s for ex. Some groups require that you offer to give away something before you can get something but that can be anything from coupons to outgrown clothes, to videos you no longer watch, to packing boxes.

Your local radio station may have a swap shop program too where stuff is free. Listen or check put their web site

...I'm on vacation with my boyfriend... we fly (by plane) to a tropical paradise-- somewhere near Thailand, Vietnam, or maybe the Seychelles-- to an island, with a name that begins with the letter 'P'... we arrive at the place we'll be staying, suitcases in hand-- it's not a hotel, but a beautiful dream home, that we've managed to purchase somehow-- I'm overjoyed-- we'll be living there, from now on-- in a series of charmingly rustic wooden cabins-- the cabins are on stilts-- each cabin contains a single room (most of the rooms are square, or rectangular in shape) & they stretch from the white sand beach, out into the turquoise water, connected to each other by suspension bridges made of rope & wooden slats. We enter the first cabin, and begin to explore our new home-- each cabin leading to the next, on and on... cabin, suspension bridge, cabin, suspension bridge... the turquoise water is breathtakingly beautiful, & calm... there are no glass panes in the cabin windows-- the windows are square, open to the air; they frame the sea & sky, so that it looks like a painting, and balmy, sea breezes pour in... the cabins are spare-- most contain no furniture at all, or else they are simply decorated-- one room contains a single woven hammock-- another has a white canopy bed, and a marble & oak washstand-- another contains a few clay vases, a few seashells, and a Japanese pottery incense burner, w/ incense burning in it... most of the rooms are empty, though-- I don't mind... I'm just so happy, to be in my dream home... the last cabin door lets out onto the steps of an enormous ziggurat (sp?), made of white sand, rising up from the ocean, and almost reaching the sun-- I begin to climb its steps, and I wake up-- trying to remember the name of the island, whose name begins with the letter 'P,' and maybe has an 'S' in it-- (something like pagos, or maybe pesache*???)

*sounds like pesach, or Passover, but am not Jewish in real life, tho' I grew up in NYC.

There may be some desire deep down in your subconsciously about things you want to do, or get away from.

The island you describe basically symbolizes some desire you have in life. As you have said, it is a dream home, the name may bother you very much. However this implies some conflict you are having.

In other words, deep down, you have some desire in life and somehow you know you may not be able to achieve it. That is why you projected the unclear name of the island to interrupt the thought. Sometimes, the name may not be important, but to your subconscious mind, that may seem like significant thing because you wanted to know if there is such place. In translation, there is obstacle and conflict in you.

Just imagine those things are not important, and you are feeling into the dream house or island and enjoy it you probably feel free in the dream. But this dream bothers you (in a way) about the name may just reflect some obstacle or conflict in your desire.

I've gotten prices for kitchen cabinets from Lowes, Home Depot and a cabinet maker. We were expecting the custom to be more, but not almost 40% more. Particularly since he said the price would be comparable to decent cabinets from Lowes - which I think is what I'd picked out.

I'm not sure the cabinet maker is correct about some of the things he tells me about the stock cabinets (maybe, he's installed them). For example, he says the upgrade I got for "All Plywood Furniture ends" "Matching Interior Plywood" (which adds 15% to 25% or more to each cabinet) does NOT mean there is NO particle board. The sales person in the store specifically said "no particle board". Cabinet maker said they replace some particle board with plywood, not all.

I did try to include everything to make the kitchens the same, 36" upper cabinets, wood to bring them to the ceiling, crown molding, pieces of maple for the back of the island.

Numbers: Lowes, for Kraft Made "Sonata Maple Square" price (with 'all plywood upgrade) is $8.5k + $3k insall (estimated install). This includes about $1100 in rebates.
Custom: $16k installed. He makes the cabinets and buys the doors (from "Taylor Craft").

It's a difficult choice, thats alot of extra money. Any suggestions?

All plywood construction means just that-there is NO particle board. The carcasses are made from plywood, usually birch interior and your cabinet species exterior. While I am a huge fan of supporting the local business man, in this case he sounds like he's too high/uninformed. Go with the Kraftmaid. You may be able to find a better deal on the installation, though. See if anyone you know has a friend who is a trim carpenter. They may do it on the side for a heck of a lot less. Hope this helps.

It's a game that i forget the name it's been 3 years i haven't played it. Ok ill tell you some details of the game that i remember ... We can have our island like an home for your self where you can decorate it with furniture. There are room that in the back field is : forest, Desert, Ice, Tree house ...
Wa can throw coconut on others heads. Oh I forget one thing there is also an chat box ...
