I am looking at the region of South East Asia such as Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia or any other South East Asian countries. I am looking for a complete range of the home interior furnitures such as the living room set, dining set etc. The look of the furniture should be of an ethnic concept and reasonable priced. I would like to know of any places specifically in the above mentioned countries such as in Thailand=Chatuchak area or etc. Hope anyone can offer some recommendations on places in any of the countries mentioned above.

Just one observation: Feng Shui is not a category of interior home decorating.

A theme is a consistent idea used throughout a room to create a feeling of completeness. These themes often follow period styles. Examples of this are Louis XV, Victorian, Minimalist, Georgian, Gothic, or Art Deco. The evolution of interior decoration themes has now grown to include themes not necessarily consistent with a specific period style allowing the mixing of pieces from different periods. Each element should contribute to form or function or both and maintain a consistent standard of quality and combine to create the desired design.

There are many design styles & types of wood that are appropriate to those styles!
Oak or walnut is appropriate to Victorian or Mission styles! Cherry is always nice, if you prefer a warmer tone. Depending on the wood & it's use, either as flooring or furniture, it is strictly a matter of taste & correct usage!
