I'm looking for stores or showroom for home furniture near Garden grove

Surprisingly, Costco and Lowe's have a large tile selection in their flooring departments, and are usually able to make their tiles less expensive since it's a large national company and not a small flooring-only store.

We have been selling worldwide for 4 years. Recently opened a showroom to showcase our products. I have tried every form of advertising possible, but still cannot get right clientele to come in to see amazing and beautiful furniture. I am at a loss of what to do. I network 4 nights a week, website, trade shows, local newspaper has written editorial twice, postcards to upscale homes, blogs, brochures. I am off the beaten path, but still on a major road. Is there something I am missing?

Advertise to tourist and offer "Free shipping" so that they can look while in town, buy and then go home and have it come to their house, since most people fly there, they can not take furniture with them.

I would advertise in the free papers that are given out on the strip and downtown.

For locals, a TV commercial would do great.

Also, call the local newspaper and see if they want to do a story about your company, which will give you a good review and get your name out to people.

I manufacture furniture in California. How could I market my prouducts to other states. How could I find sales persons around the country who can sell my line of home furniture to showrooms?

There are probably industry associations and trade magazines; for example in the bicycle business there's a magazine called "Bicycle Retailer" and in the back in the classified ads they have listings for "sales agent wanted" by various manufacturers.

Go to the library and ask the reference desk for help finding trade magazines for the furniture business.

This is to warn you guys about some furniture sales. I decided to go to a small furniture company I found online. They had a showroom in their small industrial office. I was convinced over the phone to view it because "it's something I would be happy with" according to the salesman. I went there and the sofa is stiff and uncomfortable. He then decides to show me more sofas and eventually sold me one that I thought was a great bargain.. Now the crap begins..
I gave him a check. We shook hands and he guaranteed me delivery same day. I then went home expecting me sofa soon.. 2 hours later he calls and says the delivery can't be made today and it turns out the price of the sofa was wrong. It's $80 more for it. Claims he gave me the price of another item and it was the secretary's fault. He keeps saying how great a bargain it is even with the $80 more for it. I said no deal and told him to void the check. Then I realized he already gave me a copy of the receipt that says I purchased the sofa. All that guy had to do is cash the check, drop off the other item with the lower price (the item that's not the sofa I ordered) and I never saw this item. Drop it off in front of my door, and I lose. It would be too time consuming and more expensive to sue them when they have evidence that "I bought this other item." So I'm forced to pay extra to actually get the sofa I want. I'm never buying from them again. Please be warned of scams like this because they can get away with it. Thanks

you can call your bank to cancel the check.

if they made the mistake, then it's their responsibility so you shouldn't have to pay extra for it. does your receipt say the sofa that you wanted? if it does, it's a simple claim.

if you sue and win, they have to pay for court fees.
