or where can I buy "model home" furniture in the NJ, PA, DE, NY areas?
I know of two places on the Main Line for consignment furniture that are worth checking out. Like any other shop of this sort, it is always a case of hit-and-miss. Sometimes they will have nothing at a good price, and other days there is the perfect item and the price seems like they are giving it away. :-)

My fiance and I just purchased our first home in Bergen County, NJ. (YAY!!!!) We are in desperate need of furniture - diningroom table, cocktail/end tables, bedroom chest/bedside tables, computer desk & chair, etc.
We also have a wedding coming up in a year and need to buy affordable, but decent furniture. Can anyone provide some stores/online stores??
Thanks!
I am in the same situation but I am getting married in 20 days. WOW. I bought mine from Ashley Homestore. They have quality furniture and resonable prices. Not always the cheapest but much better service than somewhere like Rooms to go. Would never buy from them again.
I'm moving to a new home, and need to furnish almost all of the rooms. I've visited Oskar Huber, Ashley's, Raymour & Flanigan, Thomasville & Ethan Allen. Ashley's has been my favorite, so far! I want good furniture that (hopefully) will last 20+ years. Any recommendations? Thanks!
Hoffman Koo's their furniture is a little expensive but its worth it... You get what you pay for...Silverts furniture also there both in the Monmouth County area of new jersey... GOOD LUCK ON YOUR SHOPPING...

I currently live in northern NJ at home w/my parents. Looking for my first apartment isn't so easy and I'm sure finding furniture and appliances for my place won't be a snap either. I am working on a budget. I don't want crappy stuff but not expensive either. Can someone please give me a few inexpensive places to shop so I could get everything I need. I already printed out the essential checklist now I just need to get the stuff on the list.
To be honest, Thrift Stores is the place. I'm going on my 3rd place myself and I always find 'Gems' at these stores. A lot of decorating ideas as well as household appliances that are fairly priced. The other store I go to is Big Lots. I'm not sure if you have them in NJ but if so, that place has everything at low cost.
im moving to west new york NJ and my husband and i would like to make our home a little more eco friendly and retro......can any one recommend a good thrift store flea market or second hand furniture stores in the NJ area?

Water Damage NJ Written on January 23, 2011 by admin
Water damage is a big threat that can cause multiple problems to your house. The water supply in your house could possibly be contaminated which can lead to various health hazards for those living in your house. To further prevent water damage, you have to first understand what the leading causes of water damages are.
All the water damage NJ companies do not know how the job done is better and they don’t have much experience. Always choosing companies which have well trained professional staff who know very well how to do a best and proper flood clean up, water damage restoration, water and/or sewage removal, mold removal or whatever the job calls for. Always ask for referrals, there is nothing better that other people’s real life experience with a company.
Poor plumbing is the most common cause of water damage. Any loose pipe attachments or poorly installed joints could cause undetectable leaks. It is highly advisable to make sure that all your water installments are properly fixed. And if you are experiencing plumbing problems, spending on quality plumbing services will be worthwhile.
