I need to decorate my Pueblo style home. I'm looking for all Southwest colors furniture and rustic and Mexico items also. Each of my bedrooms is a different color. Also looking for colorful bedding, wall hangings, talavera items....etc. If you have any ideas please let me know. I have a beautiful Pueblo style home that needs to be furnished. Thank you!!

There used to be an Arte de Mexico in Pasadena on Colorado, but I think it has moved to Burbank. They have beautiful items imported from Mexico and handmade accessories by Mexican artisans. (Even hand carved huge entry doors) That would be your best bet to complete your decor.

carla, where I live every place that cleans carpet also offers upholstery cleaning. Try Sears, Coit, Stanley Steemer, and any other carpet cleaning service in your area.

I think I paid about $65 for a sofa cleaning, with four loose pillows and arm covers included.

ı have been in la and i am going to rent a home in santa monica but deposit about 4000 dolar i am not sure can i get back the deposit can u give me any advise ??

And we rent 5 people but we re going to live about 7 is it any problem ??

and also can u give me any advise for rent or buy furniture ?

Rent someplace without such a high deposit, but the lower the deposit the heavier and stricter is the Credit Policy (esp w corporate)

If the deposit is that high, you should get most or ALL of it back as long as you dont trash the place. Even heavy normal wear and tear will trim back a deposit down to 50-60 per cent due to the necessities such as paint and all... but know your rights and state tenancy laws and use them as fair.

I just moved to San Antonio from Los Angeles and looking for a furniture store to furnish my home for cheap and quick. I know there are a bunch of furniture stores , but whats the best and the fastest?

I purchased my furniture from a website that offers free delivery to San Antonio residents & assembly on almost all items.

Shopping online could save you a lot of time from driving from place to place & dealing with a bunch of pushy salesman.

As far as pricing goes they have been the lowest i've seen. Keep in mind a lot of places charge for delivery and assembly on top of what you are going to purchase.

Also they have more than what they advertise on there site so if there was a specific piece you where looking for, let them know & they'll re-direct you to a site that will show you all the products they have to offer.

So, as my question stated, I just recently moved (currently staying with a friend, intending to get my own place as soon as possible) and I was wondering which would be a better option. Ship my stuff from back home (not large furniture, but stuff you need in an apartment; ie: dishes, pots/pans, small appliances, etc) or should I just start over? I have loads of items in my uncle's garage and am not sure what to do about it. I am not sure which would be cheaper the cheaper option. Any suggestions, is extremely appreciated.

if you drive the stuff across the country it would be alot cheaper than sending it with a transfer/ moving company. but why not start fresh in your new digs? have a garage sale for all your old stuff. cash in your pocket, and nothing to burden you. nyc has a wealth of cool/ interesting places to get your apt staples. how about hitting a restaurant supply place? good quality...for less.
