Hi,
I am trying to buy a Brown Microfiber Chaise Lounger from Amazon.com. The reviews that I have read so far is positive. As a first timer with on-line furniture shopping, I am nervous.

I am trying to find out some basics of how long it really takes for the piece to ship? Does it arrive as the one in the picture and the condition it arrives in? If anyone had an experience with returning a piece? Hope it won't come to that, but thanks for reading.

Most of the furniture listed in Amazon are sold by third party. You may want to check the credibility of the sellers, and their policy on shipping, returns, damages, etc.

I need to buy a bedroom set, but am set on an Eastern king size bed. I have had a hard time finding one for a reasonable price. This website has one, but I have never ordered from the internet. Is this a reliable store? It has 86% positive feedback. If anyone has ordered from here previously that would really help. Thanks for any advice.

Amazon has always done right by me. I've been with them since they only sold books. Since then, I've ordered tons of DVDs, kitchen stuff, foodstuffs, perfumes and I recently bought an emergency propane heater from them in preparation for the winter months (it arrived promptly, as everything I order from them does).

I've never bought furniture from them, or any of their Amazon partners, though. I will say that, for what I've bought from them, I have to say I have been more than satisfied.

We own a small furniture company where we make custom wood furniture and children's furniture and have just started and need to get our name out there, sell, advertise more, etc. Is a big Home Show worth it, like a Decorating and Remodeling Home Show for our State? It's VERY expensive for our budget and we'd have to take out a big business loan for a small business.
Is this something worth getting into debt for and what are the possible/potential returns from selling at a four day Home & Garden Show?

I go into trade shows for my business. I find that the payback comes from "word of mouth" after establishing customers as a result of exhibiting. They are very expensive though, and you must be selective as to which ones you go into. What I usually do myself - is attend the show one year, and go around and ask the exhibitors what they think of it. If the responses are favorable, then I will exhibit in it the following year.
You have a 'in demand' product for the right market. Good custom wood furniture - and childrens furniture is hard to come by. People love to have furniture such as this, that they can say was custom made, or made especially for them. But the question is, does this show draw the appropriate 'income bracket' that can afford your product. If so - then I would do it. I find that getting my product out and in the face of the public works greater than print advertising.

I'm looking to update my room a little bit and was thinking about getting a new bed.

I started looking around and finally I found some stuff on overstock.com

Now the problem. I found a new bed and would love a headboard but I'm not sure if I get the platform bed that the headboard is made or even supposed to be with the bed.

Please send help.

I suppose I'm not to worried if they DO go together physically as opposed to if they are supposed to or not be together visually.

The headboard looks like it comes to the floor in the picture they show. It does not look like it goes with the platform bed. The platform bed picture looks like a different headboard. I think the bookcase headboard is made to attach to a regular bed frame.
