Excerpts from Scott Wells and Dancers 15th Anniversary Show 2007 at ODC Theater, San Francisco.
I have 4 dachshunds 3males and 1 female. Two of the males seem to go and lift their leg on a piece of furniture and carpet when I leave the home. Can I get some alarms and place them around where they go and if the alarm goes off will it scare them and they will not go there again? I am discouraged and tired of cleaning it up when I get home.
Do your dogs have anxiety problems? If they don't feel secure when you leave, this could be a way that they deal with the "stress" of you being gone. If you think this could be an issue, you could try the trick of leaving for short increments (1 or 2 minutes) and then slowly increasing the periods until they seem calmer.
Also, you could put them on a stricter meal plan (2 meals a day) and only give them water during certain increments. Taking them out every 4-5 hours should keep them from urinating inside.
Before you try any of these though, be sure to use a pet deodorizer carpet/furniture cleaner. If you use normal cleaning products, it won't get rid of the smells, and the dogs will continue to urinate in the same spot (they tend to pee where they smell it)

Looking for something I can make at home to get rid of the smell and make it so that he doesn't do it again on the same spot? Ideas?
I have used a 50/50 Solution of vinegar (distilled white) and water, really saturate the area, like practically pour it on, the beauty of vinegar is its soo cheap you don't have to worry about wasting. I've also heard using this and then peroxide and recently I heard about 50/50 solution of vinegar and peroxide. It will smell like vinegar for a while until it completely evaporates which if you pour it on like I said could take days to weeks. I use vinegar and water (go crazy with it!), if a cat pees on a carpet, it may look like a small spot but it can spread out into the padding (like an ice burg much wider under the surface), but after the vinegar use natures miracle (it's expensive so I don't go as crazy with it as the vinegar) but this combo of vinegar/water, then natures miracle along with finding and fixing the problem of why your cat is doing this has really worked for me.
If its the same spot I've heard putting tin foil on that area and I strongly recommend using a black light to find out very specifically where the urine is and to make sure that when you clean it it's actually gone.
I redid my whole room with nice furniture and painted it and everything. It's a huge room and we can't afford hardwood laminate at the moment. There is no hardwood under the carpet. The carpet has tons of pee stains (like 50) and its dirty and has a ton of brown spots. Even when we use our carpet cleaner it doesn't really work. Any suggestions?
Please don't say "get a pro carpet cleaner to come clean it" or anything please
If your carpet cleaner does not work is it the machine or the cleaning solutions you're using at fault?
You may have to treat each stain with stain remover and then reclean the carpet. I had a carpet so dirty, I used lysol, then rinsed and used a bleach solution to remove stains. After the bleach solution be sure to rinse the carpet with white vinegar 1-2 cups per 2-3 gallons of water to neutralize the bleach. Have good ventilation while using the bleach solution, as the fumes are stifling. I would mix it the same as the vinegar solution.
I spent a lot of time doing this house and now the family needs a bigger one...hoping to be able to move a new family in without having to decorate all over again. Any way?? Thanks:)
Not really, but the only way I can think of it happening is if you:
1. Move the family into a house of a friend or relative via the "Propose> Move In" interaction. You'll have to be on the friend/relatives lot of course.
2. When they except and are moved in with these friend/relatives, use the computer or news paper to find a new place.
If your family doesn't have any friends or relatives, You could move out one member via the newspaper or the computer and then add them into an empty lot, or a house and then do what I explained above.
Either way the items should still be there!

I wished it to search like an aged piece of French Classic furnishings. Something that might search like an attractive effectively loved treasure in my property.
It isn’t an easy undertaking in accomplishing this and does get some practice. The key just isn’t throw in the towel before the transformation of the operate effectively done.
With this piece I have employed a red base. Then two various blues more than the top rated. It is important to let the paint dry thoroughly just before applying the following coat. I was tough with my brush strokes which assists to achieve an aged look. Instead of rubbing the paint off on this piece I put to use an outdated knife to scrape it off.
