My husband went to assist his buddy lift some heavy furniture up some stairs in his house and came home complaining of pain in his groin area. As u no most men.....including my husband resort to doctors as a last resort. So, if anyone out there who knows of any home therapy i can assist him with I'd be glad to try. He spent most of the nite awake in pain. Please help!!!
It breaks his heart that he cant play with our son I hate to see him so helpless.

He may have aggravated a hernia, which is a very serious medical condition---you will know in a few days because the pain will not subside or go away. On the other hand, if he pulled a muscle, he will need to be still and do nothing for a few days and it should start to feel better.

If he can tolerate it, have him take some Motrin, it is an anti-inflammatory, it will help with the pain and swelling.

I'm moving from an apt to a new home. I can deal with the boxes and smaller things, but I really don't have a buddy who can help me move some of the larger stuff.

I'm not looking for a "moving company", rather a couple guys with a truck who will charge me $500ish to move 4-5 pieces of furniture across town. How do I find these people?

Very easy! Just search through your local classifieds, craig's list they have all kind of handy moving companies featured with all the details and the charges as well.

Ladies is it problem if your husband or boyfriend you are living with has been giving rides home to a lady for a year now he works with and he never told you about it. When the lady he is giving a ride home lives in the same apartment complex as you’ll and he never mention not one word to you. When you found out about it not from him and you tell him that you know that he is giving her ride home. He responds in this way I didn’t tell you because I knew you would get mad and jealous. Then you found out one night his buddy ask him to move furniture with him at this same woman apartment, but he told you that night he was going to pick up the clothes from the laundry room. Why do men hide from their wife or girlfriend that you are helping another woman out?

Stop acting mad and jealous when he tells you about the existance of other women and he'll be more honest with you.

Some friends of mine are asking me this, as i have a few dogs myself. My dogs are both nine years old, and honestly I was like ten and hardly remember when we got these pups.
So I'm going to pretend I'm them(lol). Thanks in advance for all the answers! :)

I'm going to be adopting a chocolate lab soon. I really have never had a large dog indoors, and don't know what to expect!
I'm going to have her spayed and vaccinated. Appt.'s already set for a few months after I get her.
My wife and I have two childrens - a 21 year old son and a 14 year old daughter.
It's been agreed that, mainly, our daughter will be doing the walking and exercising.

We want to do as much as we can to keep fur off the floors, and smells to a minimum. While we realize there will always be that "doggy odor", what are some things we can do to keep it down? I've been to homes with one dog, where it smells like a skunk party..then to some, where they own several pets indoors, and it smells fresh and clean all the time.
What's the secret!?

This dog is two years old,housetrained,leash trained,and we will do our best to give her one 45 min walk a day, as well as some playtime in our large, fenced in backyard.

We want to make her as comfortable as possible. We would like to keep her off the furniture and only on the main level(no trotting upstairs or to the basement preff.)

We also have 2 cats. What are some good ways to introduce them to eachother? Both cats and the dog are females.

We plan to sit down tomorrow evening and discuss all the things we need to agree on before she comes. LIke house rules--if we all enforce them, hopefully there won't be any problems.
But what are some good house rules, to keep our house smelling good, fur-free(or at least to a minimum;), and to keep her as comfortable as possible?

Sounds like you are thinking ahead which is a plus. Make sure you have everything she will need, I recommend her a dog bed as well to help keep her off your furniture, she will need a place of her own to lay/sit.

Sounds to me like you are concerned with cleanliness.
I will tell you the secret. I have 4 dogs & 1 cat in my house, a few rodents & a huge freshwater aquarium. When people come over, even my own mom, they are amazed that you cannot smell, not even the slightest trace of any animal odor whatsoever. My house smells fresh & clean 24/7 because it IS fresh & clean. I am very OCD when it comes to cleanliness & I'm actually a germophobe, no joke. If you or your wife or both are very obsessed with keeping things clean, you will be fine. Be consistent, pick days whenever each family member has to clean thoroughly.

Also one last thing, your entire family should take part in exercising the dog & all of the activities involving the dog, no one person should be permanently assigned to that task. UNLESS she is willing & it doesn't create issues.

As far as the cats are concerned, supervise until you know they will get along, never leave the cats & dog together alone at first. Since this dog is older, are you positive it is cat friendly?

Bathe the dog once a month & brush daily, & vacuuming will keep hair to a minimum.

Which person would you say is more selfish and greedy between Rachel or Doug?

Rachel: She is a woman in her early 30s who is a dental hygienist and she drives an Infiniti FX, lives in a nice house in the city and a small vacation house out towards the mountains, she also owns lots of nice clothes, expensive furniture, expensive jewelry, expensive stereo equipment, a nice boat, gets to go on nice vacations, amusement parks with friends and rock concerts with her friends, Rachel only wants to associate with the upper class people and tends to make the lesser types of people feel inferior to her, Rachel finds happiness with her wealth and being able to impress her circle of high class friends

Doug: He is a man in his early 30s who is a crack addict and he burglarizes homes and steals various items so he could drive to various cities within 50-100 miles away so he could pawn the items he steals at the pawnshops and that's how he's able to support his crack addiction, he also lives with his crack buddies at various locations and his crack buddies would let him stay a night or two with them if he's able to supply them some crack, Doug has gotten snubbed off by various types of people (Rachel was one of them) and that really messed him up to where he ended up getting involved in the wrong crowd and got involved with using crack, Doug's only means of happiness is getting high off of crack cocaine and is willing to do anything he could to keep getting high off of crack

Doug is not only selfish, he's ruthless and evil and stupid and an idiot. Rachel is just normal

I would have to side with Rachel cause Doug is a total scumbag. There are few things more annoying than drug and alcohol addicts. Doug is a total loser and Rachel probably shakes her head at the thought of ever getting involved with someone like that.

Upper class people usually have more manners, way more education and wealth and aren't so inerested in destroying themselves like idiots by the name of Doug are.
