I'm searching for a dining furniture set for my home which would include the table, chairs, and some sort of buffet or hutch. I've seen a few sets where the table is counter height and the chairs are actually "bar stools."
Does anyone have experience using these higher dining tables and chairs? And what are your opinions of them? Are there any benefits or shortcomings when compared to traditional dining furniture?
I had a breakfast bar with bar stools and it was practical in the mornings and at lunch time as could get the food put out on the bar in a hurry. But i would never want to sit down to a family meal at the breakfast bar. It was an effort to get on the stools and down again.

starting at birth i'm the youngest of 3 and i was also the "mistake" child my siblings are 14 and 10 years older than me my dad smoked and drunk and was 49 when i was born and my mom was 33
3 years old is as far back as i can remember first of all i lived in the same house from birth all the way to 13 and it was a last minute whim because they had to move for more space for me and they had a really nice place and the day before they moved the landlord made my dad give the keys back because he heard around the neighbor hood my dad was a drug dealer but that was his best friend not him so my dad's friend fixed a house up in two weeks the house had no installation in the walls was bug infested had mold all over it one outlet in each room and was very unhealthy and to top if off my dad smoked in the house so the walls where tinted yellow my dad slept on the couch i shared a room with my mom until i was six because we only had 3 small bedrooms and when my sister moved out my mom took her room my brother got the biggest room and i was stuffed in the smallest corner room i remember eating peanut butter and jelly and kool aid for lunch every day until i was about 5 or 6 when i was 7 and 8 my parents where always at work so i had to tag around with my brother who would play basket ball at the park with his friend till like 10 o clock and always told me i was to little to play then when i was 5-7 my mom was in and out of the hospital and my dad raised us in that time and he was an acholac so when we were waking up for school he was just getting home from the bar when i was 7 my dad told my mom that he didn't want us talking to my sister any more becuase her new boyfriend was a recoved fellon and he heard alot of rumors about him (he was really a nice guy) so my mom would take me and we would have to sneek around to see her and my dad had his friends all around the neigbor hood watching and he heard that he moved in with her so he made my mom walk with him one time at like midnight to see if his car was there and another time i went with him and he told me we were going out to get breakfast then my dad later died when i was 9 and my brother was pissed and him and my mom fought almost every day and she kicked him out one night and the cops brung him home and my mom told them he wasn't wlecomed here so he had to go to my sisters for the night then when he was 20 our mom got a boyfriend and when my brother was 21 she kicked him out so her boyfriend could move in and my brother had to go to my aunts and i was moved out the big room to the corner room again but now it was smaller because my brother had his stuff in the closet and i didnt even have a dresser i just had a shelf with my clothes on it and i was always finding bug in my room we also lived in a high crime neigbor hood and i remember we use to put plastic over our windows that where cracked and repared with duck tape even thow i didnt care i never got a gift i wanted or a card or any thing and my parents couldn't even afford coats for us and we never had a matching furniture set or cable and almost every thing in our house was from off the curb and i was offen bored because even though i had older siblings they where gone and why would they want to play with some one so much youger
I'm still waiting to hear the really bad stuff. So far it's more like whining about being poor as opposed to anything else. It happens and thee are kids sleeping in a car or a box at night. Your complaining about eating PB&J's when there are people who don't get to eat lunch. You didn't mention whether you were beat on a daily basis as some others are? You can always look around and find others who have it better or have more then you. You can always find something wrong in your situation if you look hard enough. The key is to do the things you need to do to improve your situation. In your case it would appear to be education and hard work at this point. Good luck

I dont have access to any equipment for body workouts at home. I can only work with household products or maybe furniture if need be. What is the best or fastest way to build biceps and triceps without access to equipment. Can you please also list how many reps and set should be done how approximately how frequently to achieve very good results that I want. I want to get them really popped out in about less than 3-4 months time. They're half decent atm, theyr'e not beginner muscles.
Do different methods of pushups, as mentioned before, the diamond method will help with triceps. The closer your hands are on the floor, the more they're going to work the triceps. The further apart your hands are and they'll work your pecs and shoulder/back muscles.
If you get tired of push ups (or just want some variety), dips are a fun exercise you can do with just a bed/counter and a chair or 2. Whatever you use, you'll want to be able to sit on one thing with your feet up on the other thing so your legs are parallel to the floor and there's enough space for you to "dip" your butt down. Here's a great video to watch on how to do dips with 2 chairs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxrjzBl1L C8
Push ups don't really work the biceps so you're going to need to do proper curls (elbows at your side, not touching your body and not moving back/forth as you curl). Do you have something that's long and heavy (like a pipe) or maybe 2 heavy "things" (filling 2 backpacks or pillow cases full of bricks or books work well, especially with that top handle on backpacks) that you can substitute as dumbbells?
I would encourage you to look around for things to do pull ups on, they're your best bet for biceps when you don't have weights. Think of things you can jump up on and hang on to (basketball goal, monkey bars at a park, tree branch, etc.) and have at it. Otherwise, 2 backpacks, briefcases or pillow cases full of something heavy enough that you struggle to do 8-10 reps will give you a good workout. Remember to mix it up every few weeks, confuse those muscles so you see gains and not stagnation, best of luck to you!

Designing Coffee and Beverage Bars for the Home
Coffee. Café. Java. Espresso. Latte. No matter how you spell it or prepare it, it is an obsession for most people who drink it. At one time, the only place you could get specialty coffees like cappuccinos or espressos was in a boutique coffee shop, or you could eek by at home with standard pot coffee (which can also be excellent, thank you). Now having an espresso machine in the home is as simple as picking one up from a kitchen accessory store like Williams Sonoma. But not everyone uses this machine everyday, so the question becomes where to put this modern marvel… Inside the cabinet next to the blender perhaps? Think again! These specialty coffee machines are made to be as neat looking as the coffee they produce. In newer kitchens, they are showcased as built-in models, or placed in a spot that was designed just for them, the coffee or beverage bar. More and more, I am seeing a trend of putting in coffee bars in master bed & bathrooms, guest suites, or media/game rooms as well as in their normal spot in kitchens. Beverage centers that have not only a coffee spot, but wine, liquor, and soda storage have taken this idea a step further in kitchens as well as in media/game rooms.
