i just started a furniture sales job. do you have any sale tips or advice for me. i want to bring my sales up.. i work at ashleys furniture home store. in canada.
i just find people walk into the furniture store. and hold there hand up and say. i'm not buying or dont talk to me.. i find some people can be rude, when i'm just saying hello... when that person walks in. that is my up... and i do not get another person till they leave. if that person stays for 3 hours, just looking.... that is 3 hours i am not getting paid.. need little help on how to get the person to open up to me. and help on closing the sale...

Just help the customer find what they are looking for and you won't have to sell. Ask lots of questions.

Does anyone know where to buy good quality furnitures?

I have been shopping around and even read some terrible reviews about EQ3 and I was about to spend all my savings for my new home and luckily I didn't. I do like their style but online reviews have told me that their stuff break apart within the first year.

I live in Canada, city winnipeg so we don`t have that much options, please let me know where to buy furnitures that will last atleast 5 years. We do not have Ikea yet

Each of those furnitures (Ashley's & La Z-boy for instance) are two different styles. We have LaZboy rocking chair actually we have two from them. One is in hunter green leather. They're good quality brand if you like that style. We've bought one folding bed from Sears, only because they're the only ones who have the size/color we wanted for our spare room.

I'm not familiar or have heard of the others you mentioned.

You don't want to buy from Ikea. They are cheap & too simple. I see many people giving them away on Craigslist.
You want one that is classic and will last for years, not just for one season. You could also find some classic 100% wood in antique stores.
