Ashley Furniture Home Office

Ordered and paid for furniture on 2/06 and still no delivery date and store manager won't take my call. Any help?

Try there company website. That and go down to the store in person and demand to be talked to. If need be, bring a lawyer, or have a friend act as a lawyer to intimidate them lol.

I've received similar emails from other companies and it turned out to be some sort of Spam. Call Ashley's Furniture's Corporate office and ask them....they'll know for sure. Ask for the Human Resources or Hiring Dept.

I bought a sofa and mattress/box spring in May from TRS/Ashley. I paid a deposit and then in June made a monthly payment. Quickly the couch went downhill. The throw pillows that came with the sofa are flat as pancakes, the attached pillows have all the stuffing in one area and the couch looks a mess. It should not look this way after 2 months of normal wear. I don't have any children. Just me and my boyfriend, no pets or kids. So, I decided that I am not paying for something of poor quality nor should I have to pay for something that is awful!

I called the supervisor at TRS/Ashley Furniture and explained my problem. Told her that I wanted her to pick up the sofa and I'll keep the mattress and reconfigure my payment amount. She told me if she picked up the sofa she would have to pick up the mattress and it would show up on my credit as a charge off. I told her that this was not acceptable, my payment wasn't even late, I had never missed a payment and that I would not be paying for something that wasn't up to my standard and of poor quality.

Immediately after that phone call they started calling me at work, on my cell, my boyfriend, my Mom and my Sister. They called me 10 times a day and when they called me at work I told them to please stop calling my place of employment. Finally I sent a certified letter to the location I purchased the items and to their corporate office asking them to only contact me in writing.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and got a response from the Regional Manager with TRS today saying nothing about my complaints about the poor quality just that I was holding stolen property and that he is taking legal action if he does not hear from me today, August 31.

Can they break into my apartment to take the furniture? Can the apartment manager let them in my apartment if I'm not home? Can they bring the police to get into my apartment? I refuse to return the product if they are going to charge me for it anyways. If I'm going to take the hit on my credit because they aren't being resonable they shouldn't be able to take back the product. I did the right thing by calling them and explaining the situation and they are complete jerks. All I want is for them to do what is right, admit the product is of poor quality, let me keep the mattress, which was not made by Ashley, and reconfigure my payment amount. How can someone make you keep a product that is of poor condition?

They can indeed ding your credit but you can file your side with the credit agencies. Only if they get a judgment against you and turn it over to local law enforcement, will they take your furniture. Possible, but highly unlikely

This is a total scam.
Just read it closely,no employer is going to let you take accounts receivable and let you keep a portion of it for payment with out going through company payroll.
