Looking for exclusives cutomers for my marble furniture collection, like cabinenets, marble-dining chairs, ding tables, wall paneels all handmade. I am interior dsigner in germany

I am a stone restorer (Marble Polisher). In my history I have done the like of Celine Dion and owner of Cirque Du Soliel. First off we understand that money is not primary for this elite few.
Primary is your professionalism, your punctuality, integrity and quality. Then of course is money comes in as well but after all these.

Understand that one hour lost for them waiting for us, can amount to a great expense.

I give my customers the respect the ask of me as I ask of others. Does it sound like I lower myself, no but I can sometimes accept less, the car wash guy may leave a few streaks but he only charges me 10$ so I don't care. But when they gave me the opportunity and pay me a high an hour fee to polish marble, you better believe my men better do a perfect job and more.

So number 1 be certain that your furniture meets that quality.

Then attack anything that meets the needs of the "exclusive" customers directly.
An exclusive showroom - where not everyone can afford to shop into.
Offer amazing service.
Place beautiful pieces in exclusive restaurants and shops. Use their reputation to acquire the customers.
Get known and accepted by the architects who can use and refer your services.
Then hang around exclusive places yourself. Instead of paying thousands in advertising that not many will look at or trust- I mean its only an add, spend 120 a month at the most exclusive gyms, or if you have the funds the exclusive golf course. Selling yourself is the best way to sell what you have, no matter what it is at a relatively low cost.

remember their names and next time they are surrounded with their friends and family send them those drinks or bottle of wine.

I will never kiss butt , but I will appreciate those who give me the chance to show what I can do or sell what I have.

I've been trying to get ideas in the net on learning if your marble furniture is pure or fake. they say that real marble is really cold even when the temperature is hot. Does that also apply to furniture i.e. marble top dining table? How do I know if I have a fake one or a real one?

I also can't make tests on the marbles coz we sell it, I just want know if we got scammed. its also made in china.

Real marble is mainly calcium carbonate. Marble is limestone or dolomite that has been metamorphosed with heat and pressure. Pure calcite marble is white, but impurities produce a wide variety of colouring and patterns. The marble can not withstand sudden changes in temperature (it's colder than the environment), humidity, presence sulphurous gas in the atmosphere. To test if it's a real marble do a test in a small, hidden area: apply one drop of weak acid with eyedropper. Acid will fizz on contact with real marble.
CaCO2 + HCl = CaCl2 + H2O + CO2
The test produces the characteristic fizz from the release of carbon dioxide only on calcium based stone, i.e., marble. The acid will not fizz on quartz or silicate-base (granite) stone, nor on synthetic material.
Cultured marble is a mixture of resin and ground marble. It is less expensive alternative to natural marble.
Fake marble or faux marble is a painting technique, it means the painting of painting surfaces so as to imitate the appearance of polished marble. It is typically used in buildings where the cost or weight of genuine marble would be prohibitive.
Scagliola is a technique for producing plasterwork columns, sculptures, and other architectural elements that resemble marble.
Artificial marble contains a polymer / monomer, mica flakes, glass flakes, resin and other components, it is used for kitchen worktops because it is heat and scratch proof and chemically resistive. Marbelite is a synthetic, mouldable, artificial marble. Marbelite is made by heating potassium alum in water then added 10% heavy spar and marble dust. Synthetic materials may have lower initial costs but lose their gloss quickly and must be restored with waxes or finishes which give an artificial look.
In the construction trade, the term "marble" is used for any massive, crystalline calcitic or non-calcitic rock useful as building stone.

Is Lacquer a good material for a dining room set? The finish is Carra Marble.

very good ,I have a bookmatched maple dining room set and it also is laqured and it has held up very well, looks like the day it was bought.

a table w/6 chairs. These were damaged in water , bought in 1965and need an idea for insurance purposes. They were made by Unique Furniture Makers of Winston--Salem NC.

Your insurance company will only allow a certain book allowance for this. Talk to them and see what they will allow ... if you have replacement insurance, then don't worry about it...just replace it and they will give you the money back.

My mother in law gave us a dining table - it is two pieces; the stand and the table top. Both are solid marble, light gray colored. It is a very heavy, nice piece of furniture. What chairs would go best with this? What style/theme would you classify this as?
Yes, exactly! We have these old wooden chairs with it right now and they are so very wrong. Thank you!

You could also go with upholstered parsons chairs, but I agree that regular wooden chairs would look "off".
