where to buy good inexpensive furniture?

We need a dining room table and chairs and a coffee table and a dresser for our son. We want inexpensive furniture but quality furniture is there such a thing? I don't want to break the bank but I don't want to get stuck with crappy furniture. Opinions are greatly appreciated.

I found out that you can check with you local hotels to find out what they do with their furniture. Hotels usually only keep furniture for a couple years and then rotate in new stuff. The old furniture is usually in very good condition and can be purchased very cheap from either the hotel or the outlet store that is purchasing it. Hope that helps!

Where to buy inexpensive furniture?

Can you give me ideas on where to buy inexpensive furniture? I'm thinking stores or online, not craigslist / the newspaper / yard sales. I am looking for your typical stuff like a sofa, loveseat, dresser, dining room table. I'd especially appreciate anyplace with cheap sofas.
Hello, I asked for no one to mention craigslist, read place, thankyou.

what are the best places to research for a tuscan themed room?

I'm looking to decorate my den and adjoining dining room in a tuscan theme, I'm having trouble researching the style and where to purchase great inexpensive furniture. Any suggestions?

Tuscan style is absolutely beautiful, the main thing is the colors that you use and the accessories. Lots of wrought iron, natural stones, and vibrant colors. If you want to go inexpensive you can use wall color and accessories to get the feel you want without spending a lot of money on new furniture. There are many great web sites that will help, two of the best I found are listed as a source. Some inexpensive accessories can be found by contacting Home and Garden Party Designer.

What color should I paint my dining room and what color curtains should I have?

HELP US PICK A DINING ROOM COLOR AND CURTAIN COLOR FOR OUR DINING ROOM!

My boyfriend and I just moved into an apartment together and we need some help with painting our place. We want to have an accent wall behind our dining room set. Our furniture, as you can see, is all pretty dark, so we would like to have a color pop to bring everything out and together. Keep in mind that we just moved in so the place lacks personality altogether.

Some things to consider:
-we have dark brown furniture.
-we have cream walls as of now.
-The vase on our table doesn't have to be used in decorating... its just something I received from a family friend (and love). Pretty much the one colored accent piece we have right now haha
-The colors in our items that we have around the open living area are mocha brown and stark white (we like the contrast together)
-we don't plan on keeping the blinds on the windows... we want to get white sheers and some drapes/panels for the windows and to soften the look up a bit.
-the windows are huggggggeeeee! Please see our picture in the link provided so you can see what we are working with!
-oh, p.s. we hate red
-any insight on good web sites to get inexpensive curtains from would be great too!

Please see our picture so you can kind of see what we are talking about!

we welcome any insight on some inspiration!

Thanks! Amber and Kevin

Your dining table and chair are wonderful .
The white sheers will help soften the area.
How about a blue in the dining area ?
You already have the brown :http://www.myperfectcolor.com/Benjamin-M oore-Color-Sampling-Style-Historical-p/m pc-bmcombo_sghi.htm

Can you change out the lighting over the dining table ? It would make a world of difference. Some thing like this would look great :http://www.westelm.com/products/2588614/ ?catalogId=46&bnrid=3982201&cm_v en=Shopping&cm_cat=Pronto&cm_pla =ProductFeed&cm_ite=AllProducts

I need inexpensive creative ideas to perk up my new bland spec house.?

I am buying a spec house. It is very basic and bland. I haven't used the creative part of my brain for so long that I am having trouble coming up with ideas. I have been watching hgtv for the past few days and it all seems way over my budget. I have seen a few good ideas though. I have some pictures of the interior on my 360.yahoo.com/cky_1965 page of the kitchen, dining room, and living room. I also have a family room and billiards room to decorate once I finish sheet rocking it.
I do not have furniture yet for the dining room and living room on the main level. The furniture I have for the family room is black leather. Was thinking about a black and white theme for the family room with some silver highlights. Any ideas would be greatly appriciated and links to pictures would be more appriciated.
I am thinking about light pink, yellows, greens and blues for my baby girls room and blues or greens for my 9yo boys room. I have a limited budget of about 10,000 for decorating
The kitchen, dining room, and living room are all open to each other so I'm guessing I should go with the same color scheme in each room but any ideas are appriciated.
The pictures are on the blog

I have been a professional painter for 30 years. My work always got me more work; by word of mouth. You need to see each room as unique as the person who will be using that room. Black isn't a good color unless you use very little as a high light. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and look at the specialty paints. One idea is if your gonna use the color pink get some glaze of a different color and put on top of the pink with a roller then get a roll of plastic that will cover the entire wall ( top to bottom ) and around the whole room. Wrinkle the plastic with out a pattern and allow to set-up for 20 or 30 minutes then pull off plastic. These guys have all kinds of stuff that won't be hard to do. And paint each room in different styles and colors. It will add thousands of dollars value to your home. If you have problems I'm at macleodg7@ yahoo.com. So I know it's you writing make the subject Shady paint.
