I am looking for the matchind contemporary dining room set by Malibu. It is more than likely a discontinued item. Steve Silver has the occasional table discontinued in his 2003 catalog and I have a relative who has the dining room set but we cannot find it.

I have looked everywhere for a dining table that will fit six people. I want a frosted glass top and a contemporary funky kind of look. I have looked at 100's of tables and can't find what I'm looking for. I don't want to spend more than $1,000 for the table if possible. Help please.
I have purchased from immod and they have very nice furniture. Also Eurway is the best as far as prices and quality. I have bought quite a few things there and I have been happy with them. Eurway is Austin based and I believe they pretty much ship anywhere. They also carry a lot of the modern classics at affordable prices. I will post the link . Hope this helps

It seems everywhere I go everything is so old and country looking, but I don't necessarily want really clean IKEA furniture either. I am looking something more contemporary, you know, urban-style furniture.
Anyone have any suggestions???
I need to furnish an apartment (I already have a bedroom set and sofa set... didn't get those here in NC). So, I'm looking for wall art, a quality dining table, rugs, console table, a couple of bookcases, a tv stand, a coffee table...
Thanks in advance!

My husband and I are in the process of purchasing new living room furniture. He is currently deployed and I'd love for him to come back to an amazing new design in the room we use most. I'm currently working on all the designs [dining, master, and guest bedrooms] with great success but I cannot seem to find exactly what I want in the living room. Our styles conflict [my own style even conflicts itself at times!] he is into contemporary spaces where as I'm into "livable" spaces. I like some country decor without over doing it but I also really like contemporary decor.
It's just so confusing. I would like to create a room that's functional, easy on the eye, and meets both country, classic, and contemporary styles. I don’t want a room that is just “thrown together.”
Do you have any ideas?
Do you know of any websites that have the purpose to design a room--not just the layout?
Thanks for your advice!!
Go to www.HGTV.com or try this one www.bhg.com and scroll to Decorating Gallery you may find something there that will either help you or at least give you some new ideas!
I just moved yesterday and sadly have realized that I don't own any furniture (and am very grateful I bought myself a bed a few months ago). Since the move is unexpected I only have about a $2500 budget to furnish the living room, dining area, and bedroom. I have decided to go with IKEA since I know that I can get everything within budget. The apartment has wood floors and tan walls throughout (including tan tiles in the bathroom). I like the modern/contemporary styles. I found a couch that I like that comes in both dk. brown or white and would like to build off either. I want something that will flow nicely into the bathroom. I need to figure out a color scheme that will go nicely with everything. For example, could I use the white couch with black and pink accents and then go into the bathroom and keep the pale pink scheme? Or should I go with the dk. brown couches and go with greens or something. Since I am starting from scratch I would like the colors just the right way...THANKS
Here is a pic of the couch I like

How nice to start fresh! I think that it would be sensible to pick the dark brown sofa (white is a nightmare for staining/showing bits of fluff/hair etc.) and this would probably save you from having to paint (if you are liking the tan coloured walls). You might consider using orange (ranging from deep to paler shades) as an accent along with touches of blue (ranging from deep turquoise to paler shades). You could pick that up in lamps, throw cushions, accessories and in towels, etc. for the bathroom.
You can also buy large, primed canvases at art supply stores and simply paint a base colour in a soft neutral colour (or leave them white) and then splatter on whatever accent colours you are using to have unique and interesting art on your walls that will tie everything in. You can buy small bottles of acrylic paints (very inexpensive - around $2 per) to splatter the paint. You don't even have to frame them and that will keep the cost down for you and give the space a very contemporary and unique look.
I don't know where you live, but Winners often have the neatest accessories - candle holders, wall hangings, vases, etc. - that are very reasonably priced.
Enjoy your new space! In no time at all, it will feel like home!

Amish Contemporary Dining Room Furniture | Seat Stool
When it comes to Amish furniture, some of us think that the old, traditional, perhaps even rude. Not at all! Amish furniture, even using old style tools and techniques for building high quality furniture, has kept pace with the time and offers more contemporary options that most people think. Then, if you have one slim and stylish and contemporary for your dining room and I wonder what kind of chair or a modern dinner table, consider the idea with the Amish designs, might be surprised! The Amish have a great potential in today's seats, particularly furniture.
You do not have to go for the big chair in the old traditional style, as (presumably) has created a century ago. Consider the chairs Bradbury, who chaired the style side. They have no arms are a simplified version, no-frills space-saving design, with clean lines and clean the pleasure of the eyes. President Escalon another example of a contemporary chair handmade by talented Amish craftsmen. It 's like the modern record level. It has horizontal slats and curved legs, and given two options: a chair without arms or the head of the chair table.
