Cherry Dining Furniture

What color dining room furniture should i decorate with cherry brazilian scraped wood floors?
I dont know whether to match floors with dining room or do contrast with different color. I dont want to clash either. Heres link to photo of floors and current dining room table.

You should hire an interior decorator - it looks like your trying to create a certain style! Who ever you ask during this purchase period will try to sell you the most expensive stuff rather than explain the ideals of fashion - which you are obviously worried about!

Im buying new drapes for the dining room which has all cherry wood furniture such as cabinets and a dining table and chairs. All of the walls are white except for one wall is a light tan color to contrast, it was a living room before the dining room but doesnt look bad, the drapes are old and i was wondering what color drapes would look best? if anyone has ideas or pictures please let me know! thanks!

Any color you like would go well. I would go with a print.

I have been using pledge spray polish on my cherry dining room furniture and there is a smeary film on the table top.How do I get rid of it and what do I use to restore the lustre?

the polish did not absorb into the wood, strip it with a mild cleaner such as 409, check at the hardware for a stain sealer, clear stain or a restore stain, then you will not have to polish.

For a neutral room, try a pale brown, like taupe...
For a bold room, a dark eggplant (red is ok, too but a bit predictable)...
For a lighter feel, try pale silvery green...
For a modern look, try pale grey, but pick a grey with slight blue undertones...

I have a large open kitchen, eat-in dining area and great room. The cabinets are dark cherry. The floor is a lighter travertine tile. The great room has dark brown leather furniture. Cobalt blue pops of color are through-out (along with some bright green and other accent colors). Would a black table and chairs coordinate?
