hi,
i am going to repaint my bedroom as we just moved in and the room is a babyish yellow color- which i dont want
personally, i like blues and cool colors, i havnt considered painting it a warm color.
it is a large room, so i need a color that would look nice in it lol
I wa sthinking a pale silvery blue? lol any other suggestions? maybe a purple?
i have 3 old pieces of furniture (shelf, dresser, desk) that is white and a creme color, a silver modern bed, silver mirrors, lamps, and a dark grey makup desk *look at pic*
my ceiling is white and so are the doors.
what colors would my room go nice with do you think? I just want it to be calm, but fun; not too bright, but not pale pastely.
I would prefer it to be not super neon bright bc i dont want it to seem like a diff. world from my otherwise plain house.

i would love to spend $ on buying new furniture and curtains and accent stuff but i dont have the $ right now. I just want to change the wall paint.
also, i cant change my comforter bc its super comfortable and my grandma made it for me :) lol so if theres a way to work around that??

Blue is a very calm color and would look nice in your room.

I am moving home to a modern house, and need some furniture that'll go, and look as classy as the house, despite being on a budget.. The main bedroom atm has one wall apinted silver and has a rich feel to it with mirrored furniture: however I don't want this, but I don't know what would go.. Any help? Links gain points ;)
Craigs list, estate sales, want ads, etc. (pot luck & be patient) or places like "Furniture for Less" (here in So. Cal) which offers big discounts by ordering direct from the manufacturer. Also you can google/yahoo search North Carolina furniture for links to order directly. The key is knowing what you want before you call or shop so you aren't overwhelmed. I suggest looking at catalogs like "Pottery Barn" or Dept. stores first. Be prepared to wait 6-8 weeks. We saved on taxes & price by ordering the very furniture we saw at a dept. store direct from "Hooker" but had to wait longer and pay for delivery. It was still worth it as we saved hundreds.

I have seen silver furniture pieces in shows a lot lately and ive grown to like them with the whole victorian style wallpaper , as i now want a glamorous bedroom with chandeliers, victorian wallpaper, and silver furniture like this one or something similar ;
