I want it kind of like a mix of Swiss and French countryside, with the lace and checkered fabric and yellow/green colors. I already have all white furniture (except for my desk, which is red and I have no idea what to do with it) and white walls which I would prefer to leave as it is. Any suggestions?


First of all, can you paint your desk? If not, maybe you can cover it with a beautiful fabric; check out the remnants at a fabric store and find one that coordinates with whatever bedding you choose. Here are some other things I hope you like:

I need to decorate my Pueblo style home. I'm looking for all Southwest colors furniture and rustic and Mexico items also. Each of my bedrooms is a different color. There used to be an Arte de Mexico in Pasadena on Colorado, but I think it has moved to Burbank. They have beautiful items imported from Mexico and handmade accessories by Mexican artisans. (Even hand carved huge entry doors) That would be your best bet to complete your decor.

I want to paint my master bedroom and we have a tan color now, we also have cedar rustic furniture and I'm not sure what color would be best. Thanks in advance!


A bedroom is very personal. Think about what colors make you feel relaxed. Personally I try not to "over-beige" as so many do today. It's just paint and you can change it pretty easily. With cedar rustic furniture I'd go for a nature color like a light sage green or something in the dusty blues.
