Mexican Bedroom Furniture

I have a book shelf, bed frame and chest of drawers and they all have a strong and unpleasant odour, is this normal? I keep the windows open as much as possible and the odour has yet to fade.

Get a cleaner for wood finishes. Some are in cans and spray, but something like Pine-sol should be fine too.

Can anyone tell me why, just why, my above named furniture smell so strong even after 5 years? The room is a bedroom, remains quite warm, and the smell is powerful. Sort of musky but woody, but strangely bad at the same time. Any solutions or opinions on this please? The smell is defo from the furniture and not anything else, and the window is left open more than 12 hours a day!

Certain woods have a stronger smell that others, and the room being warm probably doesn't help. You should put a few candles in the room and light them whenever you can or get a plug in air freshener. The smell shouldn't be too strong to mask.

orange (bright) or red... i think you can make any favortive color work, but do it bold and bright

brown furniture, brass bed. Cheetah bedspread, black sheets Cheetah window covering. I have huge posters covering the room. Some are black and white and some is Mexican Catholic artwork. I have to keep it a light color, parents won't let me paint it dark o bold.

Hi was wondering if anyone could help me out and give me a few ideas, I was out shopping for some paint today and found some lovely black flowered wallpaper in the clearance so I grabbed it for my bedroom and have since decided to do one wall with that and the other walls white, but now I am left with the problem of which colour furniture I should go for I was going to go for the mexican corona pine range but am not sure if it would look good any ideas would be great.

Have a look at some of the Habitat and Dwell ranges. Habitat do some inexpensive side tables in some fantastic colours, Dwell do some inexpensive lacquered and painted furniture that would look great with black.

Accent it with either hot pinks, purples, lime greens or turquoises. It's a fabulous, dramatic combination.
