I've been trying to find some pictures for inspiration, but haven't had any luck. We have light oak bedroom furniture with white carpets and walls. Most of the pictures I've seen have hard wood flooring, which we can't afford!

A collection of family photographs in ornate oak frames might be nice. Children's artwork can also be framed to add a happy feeling to the room. You can frame just about anything. Frame several pieces of color coordinating fabric and hang in a cluster on the wall. Go to a flea market to scout for old picture frames of various sizes and hang in a group, one inside of the other. My bedroom furniture is light light brown, sort of an oak color. Its not dark at all and its not too light and i need a good color for my walls...? Any suggestions? I was thinking of a peachy, kinda coral color wall..i dont want anything too dark tho. ANy help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

The only avalible bedroom furniture I can find that I like is light oak. So I to find what colour carpet to go for is a little puzzling.

Look for carpeting that is of pattern with grey &white & black. (like a tweed) Light dove grey on the walls. And for accents? toss pillows, maybe a chair? RED!
Curtains? Stick with the basics, Smokey grey, Beage. Or try a print with grey, white & red perhaps.
There's to windows in my bedroom , the color of the oak wood is like medium brown with an accent of gold,I have black picture frames, black tv, and my carpet is a vanilla color not to dark.
