Glass Bedroom Furniture

Well since mirrors hung on the wall do, I would imagine glass furniture might if it's reflective. Not all glass will, though. If you can see right through it, it probably won't do much. If it's reflective or extra shiny, it definitely will.
Try splurging on a mirrored desk or small table- they're wicked awesome, work with many different decorating styles, and are both pretty and masculine if they have sharp, clean-cut edges and lines.
They're super cool in my opinion, and will definitely open up a space.

I am redoing my room, and I am going to get new furniture. I am getting a double bed, bookshelf, desk, drawers, and a glass case for my snow globe collection. I am trying to find a good brand to by from, but I have zero furniture experience... What is your opinion of the best furniture company, and where can it be bought?

hey i want to get my bedroom furniture sorted i want all brand new furniture in my room i have found out that its going to cost me 1000 pound but i dont know how to get the money these are the things i want in my bedroom can anyone help

2x bedside cabinets
new wardrobe (pine with a mirror)
double bed frame
sofa
flatscreen tv
glass tv stand
i want to get these iteams from ebay thats how i know how much it will cost all together

Colin, that may be the price on e-bay, but not in the real world. These items may cost more, they may cost less.

Wait until after the winter holidays , then shop 'til you drop!

I recently bought alot of new bedroom furniture
from Ikea, I want to be able to maintain it to look scratch free, dust free, and polished all the time, If anyone could tell me the products and utensils i need to clean it

1. A round black steel end table

You can safely clean just about everyhting with a lightly damp rag. Most furniture I've seen from Ikea recommends it. :)

For some items try plain ol' dry dusting, just rub a soft cloth on it.

If you look, the Ikea website tells you how to clean each item. For example the side table says to use a damp cloth and mild cleaner. Then dry it. The chest says pretty much the same thing.

I have a 61 yr old painted bedroom set antique white and gold includes a cedar chest , two lamps with bust one female one male; two end tables glass top covers with drawers ;a high boy dresser 6 drawers; a low boy dresser 12 drawers; a wall miiror framed; head board and footboard and rails al made from solid mahogony real wood perfect condition I need to know how much retailers sell for so i can get fair vaule for the set
i'm in philly Pa if that helps I just want ideas of what retailers are seeling similar bedroom sets for I know they are going for at least $2000 as i seen online this is solid wood mahagony with painted finish all brass fittings a real cedar chest that alone is worth at least $500 sure i can just take pictures of it and put it up on craigslist
or put an ad in my local paper but without knowing the retail value i will be cheating myself or price it too high
I really have to say for the 11 pieces at least $1000 total is fair this kind of wood furniture today would cost you $10,000 for a set like this I dont even know how the buyer is going to get it out of here each piece is large and heavy even without drawers in it the cedar chest weighs at least 100 lbs
IF i cannot get at laest $500 for this set then i will sell each piece seperately which is harder to do many people want a matched set

Look on the Craigslist or Kijiji listings in your area under "furniture for sale" and see what prices people are posting for old furnishings. Without seeing your set or knowing where you live, it would be hard to exactly assess the value. You could take photos of it to a used furniture or antique dealer in your area and ask what they would buy it from you for. Since they would offer you a wholesale price, you could probably double that to sell directly to an end buyer yourself.

Unfortunately, that age and style of furniture you describe is not very popular any more -- I doubt that you could get more than $400 for the entire set, and then only if it was in perfect condition.
