The Mom is a friend of mine, and I know have to take in to consideration for time, supplies, and labor. I just don't want to over charge or under charge .The theme is unicorns in the forest with rainbows
Figure our how long you think it will take and give your self an hourly wage. Add on the cost of the supplies and that's what you should charge. Hope this helps

The room is 16X16
The entrance door shares a wall with the double door closet.
The adjacent wall has one tall and narrow window all the way to the left (when you walk in, you're looking across the room, right at the window.
The room will have a twin bed. Please help!!!
The window is the focal point, so place the beds on the side of the window, not infront of it and make sure they are child safe blinds. Put dresser on wall by entrance if will fit between entrance and double doors, or even maybe inside closet.
Iam moving into my new house and need some websites in new york that have children's bedroom furniture inexpensive.
why would you want nice furniture for kids - they usually just trash it anyway.
Nice furniture isn't inexpensive.
Try going to thrift stores and rummage sales. Check the want ads and bargain bullitens in your area. Consignment shops can have some decent things too.
Price: $39.99
Applies to any smooth surface
Colorful addition for nurseries, bedrooms, and playrooms
Removable and re-positionable with no sticky residue
I decided to replace my son's race car bed with a big boy bed either bunk bed or cute twin bed before doing the nursery so he doesn't get jealous, I am not sure what is the best store to look at though? IKEA is fine for some of the decorating items but I refuse to have my son sleep on a flimsy floogtogen or whatever. I just want to make sure it doesn't cost too much. I want to get a dark colored set for the nursery with a 3 in 1 style crib, any idea's?????
As far as sturdy goes...I have really only seen good and sturdy beds that were home made. The only thing I can think of is to see if you have one of those stores in your town, which make the stuff, but dont finish it. So...we have one here called 'naked wood' and they make really good quality furniture, and you just stain it yourself whatever color you want.
Other than that, you'll have to just spend a day window shopping I think, because even stores that occasionally have good beds, wont have them all the time. So you'll want to check what everyone has in stock at the time ya know.
Good Luck!
I REALLY really want new bedroom furniture. What I have isn't cutting it (I mean come on a teenager with flowerery furniture) I want a Full sized bed, our little puppy sleeps on my bed and she isnt to happy about the lack of room either. A tall upright dresser, mine is horizontal and it is just to tempting to dump junk on it, i want a new night stand too. I mean it doesn't have to be expensive but I not going to live with this furniture. We are painting my trim white and my furniture is like a really light FAKE wood with the child like flowers. All I want is white FURNITURE is that to much to ask. So how can I talk my parents into new bedroom (white) furniture and get rid of this 3 year old's junk?????????????? Help school starts again soon and I want my room done before then.
Another thing my Mom says that painting over those flowers is not going to happen. But I don't see the problem and the thrift store is a really good idea.
I know I sound very greedy but just so you know I have never picked out my own bed in my life! And I have only had three the first one broke so they had to buy me a new one it was one of those loft beds, then we moved and my mom came here by plane and bought the flower set I have now. All I ask is that I get some say in what I get next. not greediness.
Ask them.
Listen to their answer and respond to what they say.
By that I mean: Don't get stuck in your 'I want new' and 'this stuff sucks' tantrum. Listen to their answers, their protests and objections, and answer accordingly.
They say it's fine - it's not. It's too small.
They say the flowerprint does not matter - they have a point. But it's still too small.
Negotiate your way down to what you really want.
The bigger bed is most important. Give in on other stuff and suggest a paint-job for stuff you don't like the looks of - as long as you can get a bigger bed.
When they give in to the bed, say 'with a night stand'.
Good luck. You may not get everything but make sure to get what matters to you.
