Blue Bedroom Furniture

I'm moving into a new apartment and the bedroom already has blue carpet. My bedroom furniture is a dark wood with black marble table tops and the headboard is black marble. How can I tie these together? What would be the best color for the walls?

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think a light gray like "worldly gray" (# 7043) would combine the blue & black really well. You could also add an area rug like one of these:

I've decided to paint my bedroom light blue. I also plan to get new furniture, but I'm not sure which color to get. I think white would look nice against the blue, but black looks a little more grown up. What do you think?

white.
it wil make the room look bigger.
black and blue would be too dark.

I have an extra room I need to turn into a guest room. The walls are yellow, and the trim/closet doors are white. I have a nice blue/yellow bedspread that matches the wall, but I need add bedroom furniture (headboard, nightstand etc.). What color furniture should I use? (Wood - light, white or black OR maybe metal?)

I'd go with white, for either metal or wood. It will look nice and clean along with the white trim. If you choose to do a natural wood, I'd keep it light.

Remember, even though white will show dirt, dark colors show the DUST!

Simple black leather headboard, black night stands and dressers, and baby blue walls. I was debating between doing all white bedding or adding in baby blue sheets with the rest white. What would look the best? I am open for any other ideas too.

I say treat the baby blue as background (like the sky) and get some PUNCH in there! Go with a yellow and earth tones bed, with a window treatment on the same lines....or slam some bold red and rich khaki up in there. Slap a complementary "important" picture or wall sculpture up on the wall, and throw up a big mirror if you don't already have one.

Go with color! It's easy and cheap to change it if you get tired of it.....!!

My mom repainted my old bedroom furniture baby blue. ITS ALL BLUE! The Bed, the wardrobe and the bedside!! I want to give the room a modern look. My carpet is blue and my comforter is blue... What colours would accent the walls? and any ideas for the curtains?

My son had a room painted pale blue and we bought him crisp black furniture, and the curtains were from Bed Bath & beyond- black with white stripes- very sharp.In your case, do it the other way around. Add some charcoal gray or black to all that blue, either as an accent wall, or as some hardware on the furniture (like knobs, or even some trim that you can paint and nail onto the top and bottom of the pieces). I'm sure you can also find some bedding in that color.
